What We Do
Sunday
Services
We gather together in celebration to do four things:
- To worship God in a contemporary setting and style.
- To enjoy meeting together in a relaxed informal way — sharing
together over great refreshments!
- To listen and apply messages that relate God's word to our lives
in a relevant and powerful way.
- To minister to each other through prayer and encouragement by the
Holy Spirit.
We begin with refreshments (tea, coffee and cakes) at 4.30pm, sharing together
in an informal and relaxed setting. The band begins our service with about 25 minutes of worship, during which we express our love to Jesus. We are not the audience, rather we all participate as we sing to Him. We worship God because He is worthy to be worshipped. A 25-30 minute talk follows
in order to challenge, encourage and teach us from God's word. At
the end of each service a trained ministry team is available to
pray with anyone who so chooses. We welcome visitors to come and
see what we do. We hope you will feel welcome and comfortable at
our services; just blend in with everyone else and enjoy what goes
on — we won't ask you to do anything embarrassing!
Where we Meet
We meet on Sunday afternoons from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at Ford Park House,
Ulverston.

Children and Youth
Children in the Sunday meeting
Children are encouraged to participate in the worship time, but
toys are available for children to play with. A crèche is
available for younger children who need time out. After the refreshments
the children and young people meet in their own groups for teaching
and fun activities.
Children are Safe
Please read our child
protection policy.
House
Groups
We have a weekly house groups that meet on Thursday evenings 7.30 to 9.30pm, for details please contact the church office.
BELLS
We encourage one another to live by a simple rhythm – to regularly BLESS people, EAT with people, LISTEN to God, LEARN from God, and to see their life vocation as being SENT by God (B.E.L.L.S.). Click here for more info.
HOTS
Each month we gather a small team to offer prayer for Healing on the streets of Ulverston. We follow the Healing on the Streets model from Causeway Coast Vineyard.
Worship Resource Group
For those interested in joining our worship team we meet to pray and practice every two weeks. If you like to sing or play a musical instrument why not join us?
Informal Networks
An important part of the life of our church goes on outside meetings.
Church members relate together in informal networks to befriend, support, care and pray for one another.
Alpha
Since its beginnings at Holy Trinity Church, Brompton, London, the
Alpha Course
has seen over a million people go through its material in churches
and Christian organisations the length and breadth of the land.
The course is a ten-week introduction to the Christian faith. Every
session begins with a meal, includes a talk and allows plenty of
time for questions and discussion.
