Our Vision
Our vision is to be light to the world, to live life
to the full as supernaturally natural lovers of Jesus, to love
Jesus with all our heart, soul, strength and mind, and to love
others as Jesus loves us.
We aim to be a light for those who are searching
for God. Like a lighthouse we seek to guide people into the safety
of God's love and care. Our strategy is to shine
outwardly, preferring to target the needs of those who are seeking
Christ rather than simply serving ourselves.
We desire to live life to the full. We want our
lifestyles to reflect our Christian values, and in so doing, initiate
open and honest discussion about our relationship with God. We want
people to feel that they can belong before they have to believe,
so that in their own time, and at their own pace they can make a
free and informed decision to follow Jesus. We want church to be
fun and life giving.
We want to grow relationally and learn to 'love
one another.' We want to grow spiritually and be more like Jesus.
We want to grow numerically and be agents of God's peace and prosperity
in every walk of life.
We aim to give away that which God gives us. We believe that God
has lavished His love upon us. Jesus Christ gave
up His life for us and generosity doesn't come
much greater than that! So we aspire to follow His example, giving
up our time, energy and money in the service of Him and others.
In summary we want to make an adventurous attempt to give ourselves
to the expansion of the Kingdom of God and the healing and building
up of those He loves. We're a group of people from all walks of
life learning to follow Jesus Christ and do the things He did. We
want to live out our relationship with a loving God in a way that
is true to ourselves and relevant to our culture.
We welcome everyone who is seeking to find out the truth about God.
We believe that Jesus is alive today and that He can transform and
heal messed-up lives. So, come as you are, dressed as you like,
and we promise you won't have to do, say, sign or give anything
at all, but if you want to know more, just ask.
